The Polish City of Opole Has Already Handed Over to Vinnytsia the Eighth Humanitarian Cargo - Serhii Morhunov
12 April 2022, 10:16
Humanitarian aid from the Polish city of Opole has once again arrived in Vinnytsia. The cargo includes medicines, first aid kits, baby food, hygiene items, and mats. Once again, a team of volunteers led by Sejm deputy Witold Zembaczyński is helping families of migrants from Bucha, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Kramatorsk to reach safe Poland. Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov announced this in his Telegram channel and on his Facebook page.
"This time 60 people left - mostly mothers with children and people of respectable age. It is important that volunteers do not leave Ukrainian refugees without support even after crossing the border. They help to get a place to live and even find a job, if possible," said Serhii Morhunov.
In total, thanks to the indifference of volunteers from Opole, 400 Ukrainians who fled the rashist shelling and bombing have already received temporary shelter. "It simply came to our notice then. Opole has become a truly friendly city for Vinnytsia. Thank you for your support!" Serhii Morhunov said.
