Serhii Morhunov: “200 Young People from Vinnytsia Will Be Able to Recover in Kielce”
20 June 2022, 09:09
The children who will go to Kielce, Poland, for a summer vacation are young people from Vinnytsia who need the support of the community, as well as students from Vinnytsia sports schools. Serhii Morhunov emphasized this on his Facebook page and Telegram channel.
In particular, the head of the community thanked the sister city for such an opportunity for children. "Earlier, we rehabilitated children from vulnerable categories in camps by the sea. The rascists deprived all Ukrainian children of a quiet summer. It is impossible to overestimate the help that our Polish friends have provided and continue to provide to Vinnytsia since the first days of the russian invasion," said Serhii Morhunov.
In total, there are four health camp intervals of two weeks. In order for children to be able to adjust emotionally quickly, various activities are organized for them.
The pupils of Vinnytsia sports schools will go to the last interval: they will be able not only to recover, but also to continue training. Kielce has a well-developed base for playing sports - basketball, volleyball, handball.
"Vinnytsia and Kielce have been in contact for over 60 years. Our friendship is an example of how effective international community cooperation is. Due to this, Vinnytsia becomes stronger and continues to work for Victory," Serhii Morhunov stressed.
