Popular Bloggers, Representatives of the Tourist Sphere and National TV Channels Visited Vinnytsia to Take Part in the Informational Tour

To implement the city and regional tourism development programs, a large-scale 5-day info tour was organized in Vinnytsia and Vinnytsia region for well-known travel bloggers, tour operators and journalists. The event is designed to reveal the tourist potential of Podillia and outline new prospects for cognitive, gastronomic and business tourism in the region.

For the informational tour, which lasted from July 27 to August 1, a rich program has been developed, focused on an experienced tourist, who is difficult to surprise, with a visit to the most interesting magnets and anchors of Vinnytsia. Among the delights of Vinnytsia, guests have been able to see museums of technology and unique collections, the oldest monuments and creative photo areas, atmospheric mansions and picturesque landscapes of the main waterway of the city. Special attention was paid to gastronomic establishments that promote authentic cuisine of different ethnic groups of our region – Ukrainian, Jewish, Polish and Czech.

"Ukraine has an extremely strong potential for the development of domestic tourism, and Podillia is a clear confirmation of this thesis. In the conditions of quarantine restrictions on foreign travels, travels in one's own country become especially relevant and very popular," said Stanislav Danilov, Deputy Director of the City Marketing and Tourism Department of Vinnytsia City Council. "The only obstacle may be the lack of awareness of tourists and key players in the tourism market about the domestic tourism product, so marketing and quality service are now becoming the main factors in the development of tourism. Taking into account last year's experience of conducting promotions, we together with colleagues from Vinnytsia Regional State Administration decided to join forces and present our city and region as a full-fledged tourist destination with a rich program of stay."

Representatives of the tourism industry and the Ukrainian information space could see for themselves how diverse and comfortable vacations in Vinnytsia and the region can be, and in the future will help to form a positive image of the region with the main emphasis: Vinnytsia is a city of endless ideas and opportunities for comfortable and interesting weekend travel or even a whole vacation. Interaction with market participants of neighboring regions and media with thousands of audiences is designed to ensure rapid dissemination of information and visual acquaintance with tourist locations and infrastructure, which will significantly accelerate the process of turning Ukrainians to quality travel services in Vinnytsia. In the near future, more than 15 stories and reports about tourist magnets of Vinnytsia and the region will appear on the central Ukrainian TV channels and in the blogosphere.

The information tour is a joint initiative of the City Marketing and Tourism Department of Vinnytsia City Council and the Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration and is implemented with the assistance of the Travel Press Club community.
