From June 1 to 14, the twin cities of Vinnytsia and Kielce will host the International Cultural and Artistic Project Master Class Back-and-Forth. Thanks to this project, Vinnytsia residents will be able to acquaint the residents of Kielce with authentic folk paintings typical of our area. And the residents of Kielce will share with the people of Vinnytsia their samples of folk decorative art and the secrets of creating traditional patterns.
According to Nataliia Stafiichuk, director of Vinnytsia Children's Art School, the school's teachers are currently preparing materials for their colleagues from Poland about traditional Ukrainian decorative and applied arts, including video master classes on Samchykivka painting. And Polish artists are preparing materials about Pidgalsky painting on glass. On June 1, these materials will be exchanged, and by June 9, teachers of Vinnytsia Children's Art School will learn to create Pidgalsky painting, and their colleagues from Kielce will try to create in the technique of Samchykivska painting.
This will be followed by an online presentation of the exhibition Vinnytsia-Kielce. We are so different, but also so similar. Works by both Vinnytsia residents and Kielce residents will be presented here. The exhibition will be available on the Facebook page of Vinnytsia Children's Art School https://cutt.ly/VyDpHYp and on the VinCulture Code page https://cutt.ly/KyDpJgR
