During February and March, teachers of educational institutions in the Polish city of Kielce and Vinnytsia will conduct a line of integrated online lessons. On February 17, the first lesson was organised for students of II-III courses of the linguistic department of the municipal institution "Educational Сomplex: Secondary School of I-II degrees - Lyceum #7 of Vinnytsia City Council".

The lesson lasted for 45 minutes. Polish language teachers of Lyceum #7 Olena Humeniuk and Victoriia Huzovska joined the lesson as well. However, the classes for students were conducted by Magdalena Sloma, the teacher of the Lyceum #5 from Kielce. "The Sun. Solar Energy" was chosen as a lesson topic. Students got to know interesting facts about the solar system, modeled the flight of a space probe, and had a quiz on results of the lesson.

Iryna Bozhok, Deputy Director of the Department of Education, said: “Such an interaction transcends borders between countries and people. We live in a world where you can be learnt by teachers from any country. Online courses from leading universities, smartphone apps as well as popular Internet resources contribute to it. We hope that these meetings will grant participants with the opportunity to gain important experience of language practice. Moreover, children will latch on to the world of science."
