is the first time when such an exhibition is held in Kielce, but the
silver economy in Europe is gaining ground. About 20% of GDP in some
countries is provided by industry for the elderly. It was interesting
for us to get acquainted with best practices of other countries,
including Germany, where a lot of attention is paid to this area.
However, I would like to mention that we also have enough positive
experience of working with third age people in different directions. Our
local center is quite powerful. There are active public organizations,
various services are provided, and clubs function. To see new methods of
work was the main goal of our delegation's arrival as well as to
introduce the Poles to our hospitality facilities. Our health resorts
are in great demand, and tourist offer is quite interesting, too. I
think that the next step should be cooperation at the level of small and
medium business, establishing specific contacts for the implementation
of projects in this area and other areas," Mayor of Vinnytsia Serhii
