Vinnytsia signed the Protocol of Intentions on establishment of friendly relations with the Georgian city of Rustavi

111111111111111.jpgOn May 14, First Deputy Mayor of Vinnytsia Ihor Korolchuk and Deputy Mayor of Rustavi Lasha Lobjanidze consolidated the desire to establish cooperation between the two cities by signing the Protocol of Intentions on establishment of friendly relations, exchanges and cooperation between the city of Vinnytsia (Ukraine) and the city of Rustavi (Georgia).

“Ukrainian and Georgian people are united by the desire to live by European standards and practice European values. I believe that the signing of the Protocol of Intentions on cooperation between the two cities during Europe Day is symbolic, since with this holiday Vinnytsia citizens confirm their desire for European integration. I am confident that the signing of this document will open a new phase in the partnership between our cities,” said First Deputy Mayor of Vinnytsia Ihor Korolchuk during the meeting.

“I hope that with the signing of this document, we will continue our cooperation and partnership more closely. Today Georgia is actively undertaking reforms, so the experience that Vinnytsia has in the development of public transport and culture is very important and interesting for us,” said Deputy Mayor of Rustavi Lasha Lobjanidze.

Protocol of Intentions on establishment of friendly relations, exchange and interaction designed to further enhance and develop the friendly cooperation between the cities, to develop Ukrainian and Georgian friendship between the two nations.

It is expected that in the future there will be established a closer cooperation between local governments, businesses and residents of communities of Vinnytsia and Rustavi in ​​economy, trade, science and technology, education, culture, tourism, human resources and other areas.
